{"id":375,"date":"2020-10-17T09:11:04","date_gmt":"2020-10-17T09:11:04","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.smithkas.com\/?p=375"},"modified":"2020-10-19T20:50:44","modified_gmt":"2020-10-19T20:50:44","slug":"non-profit-organisations-registration-workshop","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.smithkas.com\/?p=375","title":{"rendered":"Non-Profit Organisations Registration Workshop"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Our project, NPO Project No. 9, was concluded at the close of business day on Thursday 8 October, 2020.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">During the run up to the deadline, I was invited to represent the project on <a href=\"http:\/\/guardiantalkradio.com\/schedule\/the-hit-back-with-nahaja-black-2\/\"><em>&#8220;The Hit Back with Nahaja Black&#8221;<\/em> on Guardian Radio 96.9 FM <\/a>on 28 and 30 September, 2020.   The  workshop aired live on radio and streamed live online was organised and sponsored by the Ministry of Social Services and Urban Development in conjunction with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.civilsocietybahamas.org\/\">Civil Society Bahamas<\/a>.  The panelists contributing to the workshop were:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Dr. Jacinta Higgs, Director Gender &amp; Women Affairs, Ministry of Social Services and Urban Development<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Ms. Dellereese M. Grant, Assistant Registrar, Registrar General&#8217;s Office<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Mr. Simon C.
